Pinot Auxerrois(OXYHWAA) is a perplexing outlier grape with a lot of confusing synonyms, most notably Auxerrois in Cahors, which is a synonym for Malbec!
Auxerrois, like Pinot Blanc, is grown extensively in the Alsace but is more full bodied and less crisp. Auxerrois typically has plenty of citrus flavors and a rich musky aroma.

The greatest attention is carried out all year in the vineyards to optimize the quality of the harvest and their very limited yields.
The grapes harvested for this wine are from the first hand picked parcels every fall. The skin can have a slightly bitter note so pressing is very light to eliminate that element in the wine.
The grapes are grown on 43 year old vines and the wine offers a lively and supple profile with enticing notes of ginger and almond and an earthy minerality.
