100% Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France. The grandfather of the current proprietor, Jean-Michel Jacob, created this domaine based in the village of Echeveronne in the hills above the villages of Pernand Vergelesses and Aloxe Corton. Today, Jean-Michel Jacob has worked to make wines of increasingly better quality. He farms the vines to produce smaller yields, and extended skin contact in the cellar, to create wines with a stronger backbone and richer aromatics.
