The Brut Expression is composed of 35% Meunier, 35% Pinot noir, 30% Chardonnay from premier cru vineyards Cumière and Hautvillers. A very large portion, 51%, of the wine is pulled from a perpetual reserve started in 1970. It then spends 44 months on its lees, giving the wine a richness and notes of toast and brioche.
