Red Blend from the Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA.
Sequestered in the fertile Applegate Valley, Troon Vineyards is dedicated to the mysteries, energy and power connected to biodynamic winemaking. Druid’s Fluid is their interpretation of a Côtes du Rhône.
Comprised of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, along with a lagniappe of other varietals, this is a fun and fruity blend with front loaded red fruit, leafy herbs, tobacco, tea, and toast. This is a versatile wine that falls into no specific category but delivers from beginning to end.
Troon’s biodynamic blends will change vintage to vintage expressing the natural cycles of life in their farm/ vineyard and are crafted to be enjoyed upon release. At Troon they know before bud break which rows will be used for each wine.
I’m very curious and excited about the direction, creativity, and wine inspiration happening in Oregon wine growing regions beyond the Willamette Valley!
