A white blend of traditional varieties from Serra de São Mamede, Portugal.
The Foudre comes from a single vineyard of around 80 years old, at around 700 meters of altitude. It was fermented and aged in a single, 1961 Alsatian Foudre, where it was also aged for around 18 months. This is the only white wine to ever receive a perfect score from Revista do Vinhos, which it has done twice, including for this vintage.
