From the distributor:
A vineyard-wide blend acounts for 70% of the blend, with 30% sourced from Ruben Solorzano's vineyards throughout Santa Barbara County. 70% of the fruit is de-stemmed and the remainder is whole-cluster. The wine is fermented naturally in open-top concrete fermenting tanks for twenty-one days. The wine was aged for six months in neutral French Ermitage oak puncheons. The wine is soft and appears as a deep plum color with a flame of red. The palate is plush prior to lifted fresh red fruits rising again towards the finish. The red fruits fill a spectrum from firm cherry to riper berry. A subtle acidity is married with the red berry fruit and the loamy, silty tannin. It has a delicately balanced, feathery finish.
