Cantina Puianello is located in the Emilia-Romagna and one of the renowned properties producing its iconic Lambrusco. The Cantina was organized in 1938 by five wine families who joined forces to create the classic wines of the region. The high quality vineyards in the foothills of the Apennines and their strict vinification methods have been raved by international wine critics.

The Ancestrale is made from Mariano, Maestri, and Salamino grapes and is filled with rich dark fruit and spices with dry and creamy bubbles. Unlike other Lambrusco, there’s a density, liveliness,and robust tannin in it’s structure to go along with that classic slightly bitter finish!

The wine is made in the Ancestrale method where it spends time fermenting in the bottle unfiltered.
