Castelfeder is a truly majestic winery nestled in a valley cut by two glaciers known as the Alto-Adige. Three generations of the Giovanett family have gained an understanding of the special micro climates that exist in the Alto-Adige and South Tyrol regions.

Mont Mes is a cool climate blend of Lagrein, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. The deep dark color of the wine suggests power, grip, and big tannins, but the wine is not overly structured making it very quaffable!

Dark fruits abound with notes of tobacco and licorice. Each of the varietals went through a separate maceration in stainless steel for 10-14 days and then blended and aged for 12 months in stainless steel.
