100% Nebbiolo from Langhe (Piedmont), Italy.
In 1860 Gioacchino De Forville built the first bonds with his family in the Barbaresco region and immediately started working on the potential of the Nebbiolo grape. The De Forville family soon consolidated their ties with Nebbiolo for Barbaresco and the village of Barbaresco where they built their winery. Generations of the De Forville family have taken the lead and still adhere to the family philosophy that their wine is more than a drink but a history and heritage of their region that needs to be preserved.
The fruit for this amazing wine is sourced from the borders of the Barolo and Barbaresco districts and drinks like a baby Barolo!
Toasted cedar, vanilla, and an earthy smokiness permeate through the wine with notes of bright red cherries and cranberries. The wine has great structure and a spicy finish with just enough oak to tie everything together!
