With the Willamette Valley providing the volcanic soils and mountains and a maritime climate, this region encourages both Pinot Noir and Hazel trees to thrive, yielding the highest quality of each. The winery celebrates the tree and is committed to Pinot Noir grown with as much possible organic, biodynamic and sustainable practices. After all, it’s a celebration of the signature grape of Oregon.
Their flagship Pinot Noir is a blend of grapes from Yamhill-Carlton AVA and Eola-Amity AVA which were aged for 10 . months in French oak (with 16% of it as new oak). Aromas in the glass start with cherry and white pepper. The elegant palate shows delicate spice notes with hints of raspberry. The lush fruit is balanced throughout with exceptional food-pairing capability.
