Blend of primarily Cinsault, Grenache, & Carignan from Provence, France.
Provence, the world’s best known rosé region is considered the Holy Grail. With it’s Mediterranean climate of warm days and cool evenings, clay and limestone soil (gravoches), and generational expertise in the vineyards, the rosés of Provence express concentrated fruit with expressive flavors and aromatics that have become the benchmark for all rosé.
Winemaker Florian Lacroux selected Cinsault, Grenache, and Carignan to form the core of the blend and, supported by other Provençal grapes, produced a beautiful and harmonious rose with fruit forward notes of white peach, raspberry, watermelon, and hints of herbs and sea spray- aptly named “the flower of the sea”!
