Saseti is named for the little stones found in the limestone of the terraced vineyards high above picturesque glacial Lake Garda in the beautiful Veneto region of Italy. This is a blend of native varietals of the Veneto region that are commonly found in Valpolicella, Ripasso, and Amarone, three different wine styles from this region. The five handprints on the label are of the proprietors, husband and wife Carlo and Alessandra Zantedeschi, and their three children. This is a very elegant style of Valpolicella that can be enjoyed on its own or with cured meats. No need to complicate it, this with a pepperoni pizza is as close to perfection as you can get!
