Who calls their Syrah Shiraz in France?! Anna and Jean Benoit do! La Voluta was born in 2014 when Anna and Jean traveled the world and became inspired by diverse winemakers who shared their methods, knowledge, and hardships. They settled on 6.5 hectares of vineyards in Corbieres. Their vineyards of Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah range in age from 20-70 years old.

For Anna and Jean nothing is decided and fixed in advance, as they prefer to roll with the rhythms of the growing season and learn from their successes and mistakes. Their vines are surrounded by herbs and flowers that give the wines beautiful floral and herbal qualities and aromas.

Medium-bodied and pure with a delicate marriage of dark fruit and spice, the wine bursts with cherries, black currants, and pepper commingling to create an intense but unusually fresh style of syrah (or Shiraz!).
