For several centuries, the Fontaine-Gagnard family has worked the vines with heart and rigor. Founded in 1985, the estate has continued to grow and today has 12 ha of vines located mainly in the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet, to which are added a few plots in Volnay and Pommard.

Their winemaking methods remain classic: fermentation with indigenous yeasts, aging for 12 to 18 months in oak barrels. Each wine follows the same manufacturing process, and thus gives the best characteristics of its terroir. Only the contribution of new barrels varies: 15-20% on the Villages, 30-40% on the Premiers Crus / Grands Crus.
